Is anyone besides me annoyed by media's use of the adjective "democratic" in place of the noun, "democrat" as if the democrats are the only democratic folks around? Even those radio talk hosts who are a major part of the public discourse regularly make the misteak without even batting an eyelid! And, PhD's who are their guests talk about the "democratic party" this and the "democratic party" that like the republicans are sliced cheese without a democratic bone in their bodies. It just isn't fair! A few years of that and listeners will begin believing what they are saying and that is really scary! Come on folks! What grade did you get in English? Words do matter. They matter a lot! The old adage, sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me, simply is not true! Words are potent! They are your stock in trade! You can do better!
